Hamble and the Hamble River being one of the most popular yachting locations and our base is a regular survey location for us. There are no travelling expenses for the Hamble area.
The Hamble River is a crowded centre for boats located on the eastern side of Southampton water offering good shelter and easy entry at all tides.
There are four main marinas on the river:
- Hamble Point
- Port Hamble
- Mercury Yacht Harbour
- Swanwick
- Universal
We can attend any of the above as well at the many smaller locations on the river such as Warsash, Deacons Yard and Crableck Marina.

If the survey requires a lift in for sea trial or out for inspection of below the waterline areas then organising a lift at one of the above yards may be required.
The marinas and yards listed above all have facilities for lifting vessels for survey purposes. If you would like to discuss or require assistance in organising a lift for survey then please contact us. Lifts are normally organised by brokers for pre purchase surveys however please contact us if you require assistance in organising a lift or further advice on organising a survey at Hamble or the Hamble River.

We are also Associate members of The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST).
